Grade 7/8 Group of Seven
The Grade 7/8 students are learning about the Group of Seven, and their very Canadian style of painting. We looked at some slideshows of the Group of Seven and talked about their artwork and
the impact their artwork had on the Canadian art world.
Students had to choose and bring in a picture from the Group of Seven, and they have to re-create the scene using Plasticine.

The Grade 3 Students are learning about Vincent Van Gogh. We learned about how he loved using bright colours, and he usually put his paint on very thick, making his images have a feeling of movement.
The Grade 3 students were introduced to Van Gogh's famous Sunflower painting.
They then started drawing sunflowers like Van Gogh!
